Fusion Garage JooJoo Tablet

Fusion Garage has redesigned, remarketed and renamed the CrunchPad to the new JooJoo tablet. The new device is a 12.1 inch widescreen, touchscreen tablet. The unit is very simple in design and very sleek and elegant, also very thin which is good for carrying it around the house and browsing. The price has also been changes from the $200 USD CrunchPad to the $499.99 JooJoo Tablet.

The JooJoo Tablet comes with a custom Linux Kernel which boots directly to the internet and no complicated windows systems and viruses etc. The JooJoo Tablet boots from the time you hit the power button to your browser in 9 seconds. The fastest boot time of any tablet yet. The Google Chrome OS will be set to perform in a similar way. No actual operating system, yet just a browser to get you online and surfing almost instantly, since this is where almost all of our day to day computing takes place.

The JooJoo tablet is more thin than the famous MacBook Air. All motions are completely touch screen, much like the iPhone. There are no actual buttons on the tablet. It displays full color and very good resolution picture.

JooJoo tablet comes with a Intel Atom 1GHZ Processor, 1GB Ram, and a 4GB SSD disk drive. Also it will be standard with a 802.11b/g wireless wifi.

This has been a very controversial product. Some say its ridiculous to pay $499.99 for a tablet where you can only get on the internet. Some think its a great idea to have one of these to browse the internet comfortably and easily on a touchscreen tablet.
