This might not seem like a realistic thing, or even possible to do but it is! You would be completely amazed by the number of new followers by following these tips. 1. Location
So, Twitter also looks in the location field when doing search queries. So instead of just having, “Atlanta GA”, put your keyword your looking to rank highly in that field first, then your location. Example: “SEO | Atlanta”. This will add another match for the twitter search including other profile description.

2. Your Name 
Another great Twitter SEO technique is to put your keyword in your Name. This would probably be better to put at the end of your name so other tweeters dont get a turnoff by your spamming. Example: “My Name – SEO”.

3. Description
Twitter SEO also includes of course your description. When doing your description include your keyword in it. Do not spam it as this method has not proven to help your search results. Example: “Hello, I am My Name from Atlanta and I do SEO”.

4. More Friends
Besides doing all of these Twitter SEO techniques you will need to have a decent amount of followers. Anywhere form 600+ you will start getting around 20-30 new followers a day without doing anything or tweeting anything. Of course the higher number of followers you have the more followers you will get on a daily basis.
